MEMBER OF THE YEAR AWARD

Anthony Lacorazza

Anthony Lacorazza was born in Manhattan and raised in Brooklyn, New York in a close knit Italian American community.

 

Anthony’s law enforcement career has spanned for more than twenty-four years. Following the footsteps of his father, a retired NYPD Lieutenant, Anthony began his career as a NYPD Police Officer. After serving with honor and distinction for three years, Lacorazza joined the United States Secret Service as a Special Agent.

 

Anthony has conducted several investigative, protective and administrative assignments within the Secret Service. He has previously supervised the New York Field Office Financial Crimes Task Force. Currently Lacorazza is an Assistant to the Special Agent in Charge (ATSAIC) and supervises the US Secret Service New York Field Office’s Protection Squad. In this role he has been involved with the protection of nations and world leaders while in NYC.

 

Anthony is a proud member of the NYPD Columbia Association which is the fraternal organization of NYC Italian American police officers. He also sits on the Executive Board of the First Responders Children’s Foundation and Chapter One of the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association (FLEOA).

 

Anthony is also a proud member of the Italian American Police Society of New Jersey’s Executive Board where he serves on some key committees. Anthony leverages his law enforcement relationships from the Tri-State area to help expand that organization and serve more charitable causes while supporting law enforcement officers. Special Agent in Charge Lacorazza resides in Cranford, NJ with his wife and two sons.
