On November 21, 2025, NPDF Executive Director SSA Joseph Occhipinti (Ret) and Executive Secretary SAC John Devito (Ret) attended a VIP tour of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. The inviting host was Captain Anthony Lordo Jr., District Commander of the United States Park Police.
It was a compelling tour, especially at Ellis Island, where during the period of 1892 to 1924 over twelve million immigrants lawfully came to the United States for a better life. In addition to the NPDF group was CEO Anthony Imperato of “Henry Repeating Arms” who presented the NPDF a generous donation to support the NPDF’s charitable endeavors and program services.
