On January 13, 2026, NPDF Delegate to Rome, Italy, Chief Inspector Sergio Cirelli (Ret) of the Italian State Police presented to Carabinieri Marshal Fabio Russo of Italy and Colonel Saue Syzdykbekova of the Republic of Kazakhstan a Certificate of Appreciation. These officials were recognized for their outstanding sense of duty in promoting significant international cooperation and joint efforts in combating crime alongside law enforcement agencies from other countries.
