| The National Police Defense Foundation denounces members of Congress who supported the displaying in the Capital building of a painting of cops depicted as pigs in the act of shooting African-Americans protesting on the streets of America. NPDF Executive Director Joe Occhipinti was alerted to this public outrage as Congressmen Dana Rohrabacher and Duncan Hunter personally removed the painting on 2 separate occasions, after which the painting was re-hung. |

NYPD Detective Steven McDonald, who forgave the Harlem kid who shot him 3 times in 1986, was a strong supporter of the Police Foundation since it’s inception 21 years ago. Once confined to a wheelchair, McDonald traveled to Northern Ireland, Bosnia, and Israel, to preach his Gospel of non-violence.
