Support for law enforcement has been on the mind of many Americans especially at this time of year when the holidays are approaching. Our members have always been among the first to donate their time and money whenever a member of law enforcement is seriously injured or killed in the line of duty.
To that end, the National Police Defense Foundation has always been vigilant to ensure that others do not solicit members or funds in our name when they have no association with the NPDF.
The NPDF encourages our members to learn all you can about an organization before donating money. Ask for printed documentation about programs they offer and who is on their Executive Board.
Most tax-exempt nonprofits are required to file a Form 990 report with the Internal Revenue Service annually. The NPDF does and is compliant with all Federal, State and Local laws governing charities.
If any member learns of an organization representing themselves to be associated with the NPDF or fundraisers in our name, we encourage them to contact us at
