January 1st, 2010, Executive Director Joseph Occhipinti announced the posting of the $10,000 Safe Cop Reward in connection with the Shooting of Philadelphia Police Officer Martin P. Campbell who was accompanied by his longtime friend Rasheen Allen who was also shot by a mortal gunshot wound to the head and died on the scene by the same unknown assailants in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The Safe Cop program is a congressionally recognized law enforcement initiative of the National Police
Defense Foundation that posts up to a $10,000 reward for public information leading to the arrest and
conviction of any person who shoots at a law enforcement officer, anywhere in the United States.
